RCT "A Family Affair"
When we refer to ourself as the RCT family we are often telling the literal truth. We are a multi-generational group with parents and children working closely together both on stage and behind the scenes.We have had father and son Richard and Adam Barnette working backstage and technical as well as acting together on stage. Brad Davis and his daughter Bonnie have done everyting from acting to sound to lights and sets and also play and sing music. We have Laura Collins Thomas and her children James and Julia Teears as well as her husband Stan Thomas who do everything from set design to acting together. Loyce Broughton and her daughter Erin Geese are acting together for the first time in our current production of "Sin in the South" by Diane Gallo. We have husband and wife teams who also work closely together both on and off stage with RCT. In this environment it is such a joy to watch families making memories with each other. The pride and accomplishment they feel with each project is truly what makes all the hard work worthwhile. If you have ever thought about getting involved but worried it will take too much time away from your family then really think about bringing them with you.
